Ralph H. Munic, 98, of Duluth, died Saturday, April 12, 1997, in Lakeshore Lutheran Home.

He was born in Latvia, and emigrated to the United States in 1921. He was a businessman, and worked at Eveleth Auto Wrecking, Duluth Auto Wrecking and owned Munic Service. He retired in 1964.

He was a member of Adas Israel Congregation and the Jewish Fellowship Club.

His wife, Minnie (Press) Munic, died in 1952.

He is survived by a daughter, Rosalyn Bernstein of Minneapolis; four sons, Milton of Duluth, Morris (Doris) of St. Paul, Robert (Pearl) and Raymond (Barbara), both of Duluth; seven grandchildren, Darlene (Larry) Braufman of Minneapolis, David Munic of Duluth, Martin (Barbara) Munic and Ruth Munic, both of Minneapolis, Donna (David) Miller of Henderson, Nev., and Cheryl and Susan Bernstein of Minneapolis; and three great-grandchildren, Pam Braufman of Minneapolis, and Abigail and William Miller of Henderson.

Graveside services: Today at 2 p.m. in Adas Israel Cemetery
